  • Indiegogo is an US crowdfunding platform with international reach. It is widely considered the most popular, especially for creatives industries. However, statistics were difficult to calcutate due to the platform's design choice. First, because one cannot view 100% funded projects, as the only relevant filtering criteria is "75-100% funded projects". There is an option to filter using the criteria "Ended campaigns" instead. In either case, results can only then be ordered by the critera "most funded". This means that big winners always remain on top. Smaller campaigns are hard to find, since a page index is missing - one has to infinitely scroll down to see them. In this context, and because Indiegogo does not publish statistics on its platform, it is hard to give a fair analysis on average donations or number of funders. indiegogo.com
